Port of NEOM and CEVA Almajdouie Logistics Sign MoU to Expand Multimodal Trade Corridors
Port of NEOM and CEVA Almajdouie Logistics have signed an MoU to enhance multimodal freight connectivity and inland distribution linking Europe, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the GCC, and Iraq.
Port of NEOM has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEVA Almajdouie Logistics to develop integrated end-to-end logistics solutions. The strategic collaboration focuses on establishing robust multimodal freight corridors connecting Europe, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the broader GCC, and Iraq, transforming Port of NEOM into a critical maritime gateway and inland distribution hub.
The agreement solidifies Port of NEOM's positioning as an emerging logistics node connecting the Red Sea to key inland markets across Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and the GCC. By partnering with CEVA Almajdouie, NEOM enhances supply chain resilience, accelerates heavy cargo movement for ongoing giga-project construction, and streamlines cross-border trade lanes bypassing conventional bottlenecks.
Equipment dealerships and material handling distributors operating in Saudi Arabia will see sustained demand for port-handling machinery, heavy-duty transport prime movers, rough-terrain forklifts, and container logistics units. Joint ventures and global logistics players entering the corridor will prioritize reliable regional maintenance, telematics-enabled fleet tracking, and long-term parts availability across the Tabuk and NEOM operational zones.
Directly supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 objective of positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics hub, specifically elevating the northwest corridor's trade capacity adjacent to the Suez maritime route.
